essentials microsoft security downloadsDo I still need security software, such as McAfee, if I have Microsoft Security Essentials downloaded?

I downloaded Ms Security Essentials. Can I now remove my current Panda2010 software and won't I need any other protection, such as McAfee?
hi microsoft se is the only anti virus you need , you have to get rid of panda defo as two anti viruses on the same system running at the same time will conflict with each other and you will not be getting the products maximum protection ,

you will however need a spy/malware program get malwarebytes its the best free one available
No, you do not need to have another antivirus program, such as McAfee Antivirus or Panda Cloud Antivirius installed if you have Microsoft Security Essentials.essentials microsoft security downloads

Actually, if you have more than one antivirus program installed on your computer at once, they could end up conflicting with each other.

However, I would suggest that in addition to antivirus scans, you also run antispyware or antimalware scans.

If you need a free antimalware program, perhaps you should try using MalwareBytes, which can be downloaded from the link below.

Also, perhaps you should consider trying Mozilla FireFox, which is a free browser that is safer than Internet Explorer and can also be customized with a variety of add-ons and themes. If you'd like to try using Mozilla FireFox, you can dessentials microsoft security downloadsownload it from the link below.

Good luck and I hope I helped you!
Yep get rid of all the other AV products you have and keep MSE...then add these 2 free products for backup...they are needed because each AV product has a limited anti-malware, adware, spyware in it database...

These stand alone products will not conflict with MSE.....and have a much larger database of new and existing threats....

Yes, Microsoft security essentials includes virus scanning.

Two separate anti virus programs seldom run happily side by side with each other anyway, so you'd have to choose which you wanted.
