I have downloaded the latest version of the AVG software (9.0) but i cannot install it because it uses Windows Explorer to do the update and my pc is set up to access the internet using Mozilla. When i try Windows Explorer it comes up with "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". Can the update be installled usingavg free update download Mozilla?
RIght click the grey square (AVG icon) in your system tray and choose "Update".
AVG updates don't depend on a browser version.
Ok I use AVG , the pay for version .. and no problems ,, but I use IE . Tried Mozilla Firefox and didn't like it so reverted to IE ..

Switch back to avg free update downloadIE for the update, then revert back to Mozilla.
I use Fire fox for my main browser, but my pc is still set to IE as the 'main' browser for that reason.
(It still shows IE on my desk top (Which you can get rid of anyway) and I have Firefox in my shortcut bar at the bottom (I like a tidy desktop))
