I have been confused about the meaning to a certain part of the song in Billie Jean..
Ok I know the song is about a woman claiming to have gave birth to his son, and Michael is denying the fact that it is his...
Throughout the song he makes it clear that Billie Jean is just wrongfully accusing him and he is "not the one".
But the part where he says "Who will dance on the floor, in a round?" .... What does dancing have anything to do with the topic of this song?
I fully understand every other aspect of the lyrics .. except for the dancing parts.. especially when he says: "She told my baby we danced 'till three" ...
Is it just me, or when he says "She told my baby we danced 'till three" .....is he referring to "DANCING" as sexual intercourse??? Or does he literally mean that they danced? Cuz I don't see where dancing has any relevance to anything...
And when he says: "I said don't mind but what do you mean I am the one? ... Who will dance on the floor in a round"? ..
Do you think that part means that if he IS the fathlyrics michael jackson billie jean meaninger, it will ruin his life that he is no longer to entertain and dance anymore?
LOLLL I might sound silly.. but this has been very frustrating for me to understand.

I think that "Who will dance on the floor in the round?" means like will anyone speak up that they are the father... I think it's kind of poetic... like he's referring to court and a law case. I know I don't make sense, but "Who will dance on the floor in the round?" I think means like "Who will speak up and tell the truth?". He was poetic. I have NO idea what "We danced 'till three" has to do with anything... but a lot of songs from all kinds of artists have bits and pieces that don't make any sense. Don't dig too deep... it's really a genius song. I mean, the lyrics are really good despite that part. I think he was poetic and he probably had a special meaning behind it that you're just kind of supposed to fill in for yourself. But I don't think anything had a sexual reference...
The fact he's asking "Who will dlyrics michael jackson billie jean meaningance on the floor in the round?" may be asking who will step in and admit that they are the father of this child. But then later says "Gonna dance on the floor in the round". I think possibly he's saying he was the father... I don't know, but it's cool and I think the lyrics are very inventive.
I just think he was amazing. =).

yeah when he says dance on the floor and around, hes meaning they had sexual intercourse.
"I said don't mind but what do you mean I am the one?" is taken from a conversation at the start where he is asking her "why do you think i am the one?" as in the one for her. her soul mate.
It has a double meaning. in reference to the song he also means "i am the one?" to father her child.
It means chamoooo heee-heeee.
